Melvin Rademaker Obituary

RADEMAKER-Melvin William Rademaker (1932-2010) passed away on November 18th in Baldwin Park, California. He was born November 2, 1932 in Urbana, Illinois. He was a Veteran of the US Navy serving for 4 years from 1952 - 1955, where he met his wife Crisanta in the Philippines and married her. After returning home they moved to California in 1960 and have resided in Covina for the last 50 years. He has been a member of Christ Lutheran Church of West Covina for 50 years. He was employed in the dairy industry for 40 years and retired from Vita Pak in Covina. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Crisanta, 3 sons, William (Angie), John and Robert (Cheryl), a daughter, Christine (Steve) Trapschuh, 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 6 nephews and 4 nieces, 3 brothers, Eddie (Joanne), Eldon (Marilyn) and Ray (Judy). He was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara in 1958. Visitation will be November 23rd from 7pm to 9pm at Allen-English & Estrada Mortuary, 6435 S. Eastern Ave., Bell Gardens, CA. Service will be November 24th at 1pm at Christ Lutheran Church, 311 S. Citrus St., West Covina, CA.

To the family of Malvin, I just received word of Mels passing, He was my Godfather, and I haven't seen him since 1968 when our family moved to New Hampshire. Chris, Take care of yourself and God bless you, Bill, John , Bobby and Christina, my heart goes out to you all.
