PETRA LUNA PIETO

Age 87, of San Fernando, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2010. Petra was born in Reseda and resided in the San Fernando Valley for most of her life. Some of her enjoyments were attending the senior citizens dances at Las Palmas Park and crocheting gifts for her loved ones. Those gifts will now be a precious memory of her. All who were close to her will remember how she never forgot a birthday, receiving that annual birthday card in the mail from her. Beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, will be deeply missed but forever in our hearts. She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Angel, Josie, Manuel, Cresencia and Regino Jr.; three of her children, Edward, Ermelinda and John; her 15 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Predeceased by her sisters, Cruz and Jovita; her children, Lola, Margarito, Romaldo, Patricia, Robert, Jesus and Anthony. A Wake and Viewing will be held Tuesday, October 5, 2010, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., with Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at JT Oswald Mortuary, 1001 N. Maclay Ave., San Fernando.
