Richard DeBie

Richard DeBie Richard DeBie died peacefully resting in the arms of his Lord on October 13, 2010, at the age of 88. Rich, as he was called by his friends and family, was born December 15, 1921 in Rock Valley, Iowa, to Cornelius and Jannegje (Van Hofwegen) De Bie. He was the 8th child of a family of 13 children-all hard working, Dutch dairy farmers. He is survived by his sons, Linden and Rick, their wives Mary and Charlene, his beloved grandchildren Jeremy, Jonathan, Jamie, Jenise and Cailyn, and the most wonderful great-grandchildren, Kaelene 8, Keziah 5, Noah 5, Hendrick 19 mos. and Kyrie 11 mos. all of whom were the absolute apple of his eye, and brother Dick. Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday October 19, at 11 AM, Emmanuel Reformed Church, 15941 Virginia Ave., Paramount. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Emmanuel Reformed Church.
