Bruggink, Phillip G.

Phillip G. Bruggink, age 57 of N5142 Country Aire Road, Plymouth, WI passed away unexpectedly early Tuesday evening, August 16, 2011 at his home.

He was born on May 13, 1954 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin a son of the late Leonard and Marcia Huenink Bruggink. Phil attended Oostburg Grade School and Oostburg High School graduating in 1972.

On October 14, 1988, he married Linda Blanke in Sheboygan. The couple has resided in Plymouth since their marriage with their four children.

He was currently employed at Sheboygan Chevrolet-Cadillac for 23 years.

Phil was a member of Salem Plankroad United Church of Christ in the Town of Plymouth where he served as past president of the consistory and on the cemetery committee as well as singing in the church choir.

Phil taught Hunter Safety for many years at the Rhine Field and Stream Club. He enjoyed spending time at their cabin up north in the outdoors hunting, fishing and building campfires. He was an avid fan of watching his sons play football and soccer as well as playing pool with his daughters. Phil was a big NASCAR fan with his wife. Phil was one to always open up his house to many other children and enjoyed making Sunday morning pancakes and playing cards with friends and family. He was always fixing items around the house. Phil will be loved and missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include: His loving wife of 22 years: Linda of the Town of Plymouth; His children: Liza Stoll of Plymouth, Brooke Stoll (Fianc?: Sonny Zuliani) of Nashville, TN., Jason Bruggink and Michael Bruggink both of Plymouth; His mother-in-law: Beryl Blanke of Sheboygan Falls; His Granny-in-law: Genevieve Blanke of Sheboygan Falls; Brothers and Sisters: Mary (Dan) Raih of Oostburg, Randy Bruggink of Oostburg; Brothers and Sisters-in-law: Chris (Paul) Baumann of Plymouth, John Blanke of Plymouth, Karen (Victor) Prahl of Sheboygan Falls, Thomas Blanke of New York. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law: Don Blanke.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday Afternoon, (Aug. 20) at 1:30 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Rev. Lorri Steward, Associate Pastor of Ebenezer United Church of Christ in Sheboygan will officiate. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery in the Town of Holland.

Friends may call at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth from 10:30 A.M. on Saturday until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Phil's name.

The Suchon Funeral Home and Cremation Services is serving the family.
