Robert Billmann Obituary
Robert was born on May 28, 1934, in Sheboygan Falls, son of Louis and Agnes (Ardts) Billmann. He was a 1952 graduate of Sheboygan Falls High School. On May 2, 1959, he married Diane Grube in Sheboygan Falls. Diane passed away on February 21, 1997. Robert was employed with Tecumseh Manufacturing for 31 years until his retirement in 1986.
Robert was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls. He enjoyed taking drives through the Kettles, watching the Green Bay Packers win, ice cream sundaes and ice cold beers, sheepshead, Johnny Cash, John Wayne movies and Louis L'Amour books, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Darcy Loomis (special friend Bill Heidel) of Weyauwega; his son, Clint Billmann (special friend Theresa Goshert) of Kiel; five grandchildren, Jeremiah (Jessica) Billmann, Jessica (Eric) Gilbertson, Jasmine Moore, Dakota Loomis, and Wyatt Loomis; four great-grandchildren, Ethan and Sawyer Moore, Chase Billmann, and Mila Gilbertson; one brother, Gordon (Joyce) Billmann of Sheboygan Falls; and a former son-in-law, Richard Loomis of North Fond du Lac; nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Diane, his parents, and his sister, Virginia (Gordon Sr.) Rammer.
A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Robert's life will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls with Rev. Bob Lotz officiating. Entombment will take place at Gardens of Peace Mausoleum in the Town of Sheboygan.
Relatives and friend may call at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls on Wednesday from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm and also at the church on Thursday from 9:30 until the time of Mass.
A memorial fund has been established in Robert's name for the Sheboygan County Cancer Care Fund.
