Lois Hoback Obituary

SHELBY-Lois Shirley Hoback, 90, of 1404 Lackey Street, died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
A native of Cook County, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Ray and Florence Novander Grimm.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, W. Niel Hoback; one son, Douglas Niel Hoback; one brother, Raymond Grimm; and one sister, Fern Grantham.
She is survived by two daughters; Candy Hurtig and husband, John of Shelby, and Sharon Herren of Indianapolis, Ind.; one sister-in-law, Jutta Grimm; five grandchildren, Wendy Wilson and husband, Andy, Richard Herren, Ryan Morton and wife dawn, Rachel Byers and husband, Dave, Celeste Arrigo and husband, Mike; four great-grandchildren, Christopher and Willow Wilson, Sofia and Levi Byers.
Funeral Service: 6 p.m. Thursday at Putnam Baptist Church
Officiated By: Jonathan Glisson
