Franklin Pullen Obituary

MAY 24, 1939 - APRIL 21, 2010
SHELBY - Mr. Franklin Jerome Pullen, 70, of 2521 Shoal Creek Road, died Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at home.
He was born May 24, 1939, in Cleveland County, to the late Frank Mark Pullen and Lillie Mae Pullen of Shelby. He was re-tired from Cleveland Community College. He was a member of Pine Grove Primitive Baptist Church, North Carolina Athletic Association, Tee to Green Golf Club and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.
He is survived by his wife Berniece Wimbush Pullen of Shelby; sons Franklin Jerome Pullen (Erin) of Shelby and Darius Mackenzie Pullen (Margaret) of Cherryville; sisters, Shirley Pullen Smith (Norris) of Upper Marlboro, Md., Gaynell Pullen Barber (Lois) of LaPuente, Calif., Delores Pullen Williamson (Clarence) of Greensboro and Hortense Pullen Jamison (Kenneth) of Durham; brother, Benjamin Pullen (Lois) of Valrico, Fla.; and six grandchildren.
Memorial service: Saturday, April 24, 1 p.m., Prine Grove Primitive Baptist Church; the body will be placed in the church one hour before the service

My thoughts are with the family. I knew Frank from Cleveland Community College and he was very good man, he loved to help people, he was also a kind man to everybody that he came in contact with.
