Dear Don,
I was sorry to read of the lost of Dagmar. What a kind and beautiful lady she was to everyone. I remember when I first met her at the beauty salon where she was having her lovely red hair coiffured by Jody Parker. I remember thinking what an interesting lady with such a sweet spirit. We became friends instantaneously.
She will be missed greatly and her memory will be forever in my heart, until we met again.
God's blessings to you and the Owen family. You are all in my prayers. Take care my friend. Agatha Fertitta-McCall.

Don, Daryl, & Donna - I was so surprised and saddened to learn that Aunt Dagmar has gone to her reward. I know, though, that her spunk and humor and love will stay in the hearts of all of us who have loved her for so many years. Mother and I got to spend an afternoon visiting with Dagmar and Don a few months ago while I was in Shreveport and it was such fun!! I'm disappointed that Jerry and I are unable to attend the service tomorrow. I'll be in Salt Lake City and have tried all manner of solutions to rearrange the time so I could just be there a while to share in celebrating Diggie's life and the ways that she touched all of us. Unfortunately, I could not make it work. We love you all and you'll be in our hearts and prayers as you move through these upcoming days. (I wasn't sure if you'd contacted Kristina so I reached out to her today.) Sending you lots of special hugs -Diane

I am so sad to hear about Dagmar. What a beutiful person she was and it was hard not to fall in love with her at that first meeting. Don, I worked with you for many years and it was very obvious the love and devotion between the two of you. May God Bless and watch over you and your family through these sad times. Von Meador

Don, my deepest sympathy and prayers are with you and your family. When I worked for the Lavigne's, I nicknamed her Dag-mom because she took me under her wing. She created a work atmosphere of family which I have always cherised and remembered. I always admired the devotion you had for each other. You and your family are in my prayers.
