To the Patton Family,
Ed McFatter just called and told me tonight of Icky's death. You don't know me, but i knew Icky at TECH when he roomed with Bill Peterson. I was a grad. asst. with Bill and we all hung out together. You can be proud of him for him was an excellent example of a Christian and a great friend. I wish that i had known of the funeral, i just know that there would have been more of us to come. My deepest sympathy goes out to your family.

Dear Patton family,
We both send you our prayers and thoughts. Icky was such a great, positive influence on us during FBCS days. Inspired by his constant smile, positive outlook, and his faith, as well as his continual laughter. Truly made the sphere of basketball and Coach Shaw so much better.
So thankful for the blessing he was to us.
love,

Mr.and Mrs.Patton, Tim and Family, We don't even have the words to express how you are feeling. We were all so saddened to hear about Icky. We (THE BOOSE FAMILY) lived across the street from Icky and Tim,(TIMBO) as I remember . We always remember Icky and his positive attitude and how he loved any sports. Hassett street was known for the street with all boys, except of couple of girls. (Melissa Boose)was one. The Hassett Gang always played basketball at Icky's house. When we weren't playing basketball, we were playing football and baseball in the boulevard. This was located in front of Icky and Timbo's house. We all had the best time growing up. Mr. and Mrs. Patton treated all us like their own children, who always had refreshments for us. I always remember seeing Icky on the softball field. Back in the days,Icky was an awesome 2nd baseman and fastest runner around. We havent seen Icky or Timbo in a long time, but just seeing his picture made me feel like it was yesterday. My brother, Pat and Icky's softball buddies, Chuck Rinchuso, Crowley Wright,& John Lewis who grew up with him will be there to say good bye for us all. We will miss him, but will treasure all the wonderful memories we have of Icky.
Our prayers and thoughts go out to all of his family.
