Shane E. Basinger Jadyn Basinger Kinsley Basinger



SHREVEPORT, LA - Funeral services for Shane Basinger, 34, Jadyn Basinger, 8 and Kinsley, Basinger, 6, will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel. Officiating will be Brother Gary Cowart. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Friday, June 18, 2010 at the funeral home.

Shane was born on January 12, 1976 in Shreveport to Gary and Cathy Basinger. He was a loving and devoted husband. Shane loved his daughters, and was a wonderful father, showing his girls how dear they were to him and enjoyed being together as a family. He was a caring friend, one who would do anything if asked. Shane was such a joy to be with and will be missed by all who knew him.

Jadyn was born on May 5, 2002 in Shreveport to Shane and Kerri Basinger. She was an honor student at Walnut Hill Elementary. Kinsley was born on March 17, 2004 in Shreveport to Shane and Kerri Basinger. She was to be in the 1st grade at Walnut Hill Elementary. Jadyn and Kinsley were such loving and sweet children who could light up a room and were such a joy to be around. They were their Nanny's and Pappaw's little angels and loved dearly.

They all passed away on June 11, 2010 in Langley, AR while camping.

Shane was preceded in death by his grandfather, Edward L. McDonald and aunt, Sue Anne Petrus Ladatto. He is survived by his wife, Kerri Webb Basinger; parents, Cathy Sublett and Gary Basinger; son, Kyler Shane Basinger; sister, Shelley L. Basinger; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Tommy and Sandra Webb; cousins, Lesa Townsend and Wendi Grabner; nieces Taylor L. Powell and Alyssa N. Webb. Shane is also survived by his grandparents, Willard and Pam Basinger.

Jadyn and Kinsley were preceded in death by their great-grandfathers, Anthony Lucero, Alton D. Webb, and Edward L. McDonald and great-aunt, Sue Anne Ladatto. They are survived by their mother, Kerri Basinger; brother, Kyler Basinger; grandparents, Tommy and Sandra Webb; Cathy Sublett and Gary Basinger; great-grandmothers, Lois McDonald and Antoinette Lucero; aunts and uncles, Kyle and Rachel Webb and Shelley Basinger; cousins, Alyssa Webb and Taylor Powell.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Lovell, Sean Duran, Shane Duran, Kyle Webb, Scott Stasny, Chris Davis, Mike Wilkerson and Kevin Higdon, J. R. Tyson, Adam Lee, Steve Barr, David Krutilek, Joel Steen and Robert Sabins.

Gifts to help the family may be made at any Regions Bank.

The family expresses a special "thanks" to the wonderful people of Langley AR and the surrounding areas. We cannot thank them enough. They will forever be a part of our family. Rose-Neath Funeral Home

It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
