I did not know she had passed away. I met Elizabeth when I was on the road with my band Naked Alley. We became very good friends with Elizabeth, her family, and friends. She was a beautiful human being, she used to invite us over to her house for dinner. My favorite was her Louisiana style gumbo. We wrote a song for her "Gumbo Mama", and recorded it on our first, and only CD. Every time I hear this song I remember Elizabeth and her sweet smile. Rest in peace Elizabeth!

Nadean, my heart breaks for you. I was so honored to get to know your mom. She epitomizes a southern bell. She was gracious, witty, loving, intelligent, strong - a true steel magnolia. She touched so many lives! I know that you will feel such a void with her gone. I pray that your many, many happy memories of her, your knowledge of how much she loved you and was so proud of you, and knowing that she is in such a wonderful place now will give you strength. I will always treasure the times you shared her with me!

I met Ms. Sugie 30 yrs ago. She was always very nice to me and welcomed me into her home. Her daughter Beth and I have been friends that long too. Unfortunately life, as it does sometimes, had us drifting in and out of each others lives. Thoughts and prayers for Beth and her family to have peace now. We know Ms. Sugie is at peace now. Love ya Beth.

Her loving and caring daughter Beth is a testament to what a wonderful woman she must have been. Go with God.

Oh, what to say about Lizbeth! She was such a delightful joy in our lives. She often joked about being my husband's girlfriend, and she was to him and all the heart waiters and recipients, their spouses and companions. Gracious, opinionated, beautiful, classy, determined, blessed; all these words have been used to describe our Lizbeth! She is looking down now, with all our loved ones, no more pain. Keep her memory alive, please tell her stories to all that will listen!
