I shall miss seeing Dr. Cox in Church on Sunday; and his kind errand he did for nine children a few years ago to let them know their Mother in the hospital was alive when they could not get information. He was a very special person.

My heart felt sympathy to his wife, sons, and family.

Dr Hughes Cox was a thoughtful, energetic lecturer who certainly enriched my years at Centenary. Very sad to learn of his passing.

To the Cox family: Please accept my heartfelt sympathy. Dr. Cox taught me several courses at Centenary. He helped me learn to think, to appreciate what others believed, and offered only care and compassion. He loved you all so much. Rev. Kathy Clark-Dickens
