MINSTER — Catherine L. Wolken, age 71, of Ohio 362, Minster, passed away of natural causes Tuesday evening, Nov. 18, 2014, at the Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys, Ohio.
She was born Jan. 17, 1943, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to the late Henry and Helen (Ruffing) Wolken.
Catherine is survived by one brother, Fred and Judy Wolken, of Salem; three nieces, Jennifer and Ralph Short of Spartenburg, South Carolina, Susan and Kyle Gainor of Salem, Carolyn and Chad Zines of Salem; and a nephew, Robert Wolken of Salem.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Daniel Wolken.
Catherine was a retired elementary school teacher and had been a member of the Fort Loramie Historical Society. She enjoyed acrylic painting and Genealogy projects with her friends.
A private committal service will be held at St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery in Castle Shannon, Pennsylvania.
Memorials may be made to the Wilderness Trail Museum at P.O. Box 276, Fort Loramie, OH 45845.
