ANNA KAHN Obituary

KAHN, ANNA Anna Kahn died Monday, September 6, 2010, at Silverado in Encinitas. Born Anna Bilk on November 1, 1929 in Philadelphia, PA. The middle child of three, she is survived by her brother Marvin Bilk of Lafayette Hills, PA and sister Jackie Fabel of Brigantine, NJ. She married Edward Kahn (1927-2002) in 1950. She lived in Chicago, Illinois where she gave birth to her first four children, then she moved to San Diego with Edward in 1960. She was active leader in CampFire Girls, fundraiser for Coronado Swim Association and Congregation Beth Israel. She was a devoted Jew, avid Padres fan and collector of Norman Rockwell who will be remembered lovingly by her seven children, Judy Kahn Quan (Ben) - Encino, Robin K Black - Chico, Debbie Williges ( Bill) - Benicia, Jerry (Angela) - Encino, Rosalyn Kahn Hyman ( David) Sepulveda, Mitchell (Ana) West Covina, April Linden ( Carl) San Diego, and her 12 grandchildren. A funeral was held on September 7,2010 at CBI. Donations can be made to the association for Frontotemporal Dementias.
