ARLENE CAMPBELL Obituary

CAMPBELL, ARLENE On August 24, 2010, my wife passed away at home surrounded by her family while fighting cancer to the end. She will be greatly missed, by both her husband and son. Arlene was born October 11, 1955 in Chicago, IL. Arlene will be remembered for her hand-crafted glass jewelry. She made many friends through her "funnyfuser" glass jewelry. She is survived by immediate family Kurt and Kenny Campbell, her brother Gary Schwartz, and sisters Flora Chamberlain, and Myra Herrmann. Services will be held at the Bernardo Winery on September 26th at 10 a.m. in the park.

Wonderful lady, artist of truly unique and most beautiful jewlery and good friend. She was especially kind to my wife and I on our Friday Winery craft events and ALWAYS looked out for my wife, a stroke victim. Arlene made sure that Alix had a space near the heater when it was cold and a cool place to sit when it was hot. Arlene's friendliness and kindness was special and she will be remembered fondly by the many folks that visited Bernardo Winery each Friday and the Spring and Fall craft shows. A great friend and great lady - may she rest in peace.

Arlene's family:

As a long-time Bernardo Winery Farmer's Market friend and customer of Arlene, along with you we mourn Arlene's passing.

She had an indomitable spirit, artistic talent galore, and was someone we looked forward to saying a friendly "Howdy" to every Friday.

We were at the Sunday Memorial and witnessed the great Love that Arlene engendered in others.

Vaya con Dios, Arlene Campbell
