BERTHA BOELHAUF

BOELHAUF, BERTHA March 17, 1925 to Dec. 29, 2010 Bertha Boelhauf was born in Yreka, CA in 1925. She moved to Vallejo, CA in 1942. She worked for the USPS then married the love of her life, Bob Boelhauf in 1948. They had three children, Linda, Russ and Laura, then moved on to San Diego in 1960. In San Diego, Bertha worked for the church and school her children attended. Later, Bob and Bertha moved to Virginia and into retirement. They returned to Napa, CA for a few years, then back to San Diego to settle for good. Bob and Bertha have lived in San Diego since 1984 surrounded by children and grandchildren. Bertha's greatest delights were her children, Linda (John Quinn), Russ (Glen Chase), Laura (Richard Martin) and her grandchildren, Nathan, Amber, Shane, Erin, Jackie, Ricky, and Chris. The love of her life remains her husband and best friend, Bob Boelhauf. Memorial and Rosary January 3rd, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at La Mesa Erickson-Anderson Mortuary.
