BOBBY WRIGHT Obituary

WRIGHT, BOBBY K. Bobby K. Wright, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, father-in-law, uncle and friend, passed away on May 29, 2011 with family by his side. He was 85. Bob was born on July 3, 1925 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma. After serving in World War II, Bob settled in San Diego and attended SDSU. He met Virginia Coulston during this time, and they soon married and settled in La Mesa to raise their family. Bob worked many years for the postal service and retired in 1980. Bob enjoyed all sports, but had a special love for golf, and played as often as possible. He also enjoyed being with family and friends. As they all know, he was quick to lend a hand and had a wonderful sense of humor. His warmth, goodness, and kindness will never be forgotten. Bob was preceded in death by parents Monroe and Dixie, sisters Gwen and Lovell, and brother Noree. He is survived by his wife Virginia, sons Ron and Bryan, daughter Nancy Brunelle and her husband Bob, grandchildren Gabriel and wife Katie, Aaron, Jacob, and Jonathon, and great-granddaughters, Adisyn and Phoebe. Many other family members, friends, co-workers and neighbors will cherish his memory. A celebration of Bob's life will be held at the Bonita Country Club on June 30, 2011, 12-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to charity of choice.

I worked with Bobby for about 20 years in the La Mesa Post Office as a fellow letter carrier. I consider him as one of my early mentors. We had a lot of fun together. Miss you, Bobby. God Bless.
