Danny, Jason and I think of you often. You will be a grandpa again this year. Jason wishes you could be here to see him be the best father just like you were to him. Renne and Brit miss you too! We, your family, know what was true in your heart. Our baby will be extra blessed because he/she will have two poppa angels looking down on him/her. We know you are up there racing down the big highway in the sky!

"Through the travail of years, as if through a glass and dimly lit the age old strife I see. Though I fought in many places and many guises, I always fought as me" written by General George S. Patton. Danny was many things to many people. But most of all he was an open-hearted sincere man and a very good friend to both me and my daughter Taylor. She fell in love with him the very first time they met because of his love for children which radiated like the light of a new sun. God pick an excellent soul to add this light to our lives. We all have to pick up and carry his light foward now. Taylor and I will miss this wonderful person. But are joyful in his release from his pain and the reunion with his wife. I know they will be with us always in spirit. Thank You God.

Danny, aka the Captain, you were a wonderful part of our coming to Escondido faire for a number of years, our thursday night dinners were a relief and joy for Patti and I every time we came down. opening your house to us for my natal day to help us get away when we were taking care of my mom was a wonderful thing and just shows how you and Alexa lived your life. always with a happy smile and positive comment. we will miss you as we continue with our time on this world. and it will be a lesser place without you both.. Robert Dudley Earl of Liecester, Her Majesty the Queen, and all of Saint Elizabeths Guild..

I wish everyone could know a couple like Danny and Lexie. In the often tempestuous and drama-filled world of pirate enthusiasts, they were a sea of calm. They were doing what they loved and you couldn't be in their company for any length of time before you found yourself feeling that this was how it should be; good comrades and good times. They provided both and, in my view, that's the highest compliment I can pay to them. We'll see you both someday on Fiddler's Green.

To my friend and Pirate Lord.
I am honored to have been your friend as we sailed on this earth. These last two years you and Alexa showed me how to give even when I had only a smile to offer. To make others laugh and forget about their troubles if even for a moment. And to be humble when praise is given. For this,I am eternally grateful to you both. I will miss you every day and will make sure that the memory of Pirate Lord and Mrs. Whitebeard will live on in the communities that you both touched with your love and generosity. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your lives.

Danny: I truly wish we had more time to really get to know eachother. Most importantly I want to "Thank You" for raising such a WONDERFUL man when you raised Jason! I could have never asked for a better husband and that is all because of how much YOU LOVED YOUR SON!

Dan: It was an honor to be part of your care for the last year. I was always touched by your warmth, your sense of humor and your love for Lexie. I recall how your goal was to live long enough to finish your 'job', caring for her till the end. I am happy that I was able to help you meet that goal and provide you with the love and compassion you needed. Now that your work is done, may you rest with her and know that I will remember you for a long time to come.
