Daphne was a role model for me: smart, dedicated, classy -- and passionate about her adopted home town of Coronado. It was an honor working with her at the Visitor Center and I will miss her dearly. My deepest sympathy to Larry and the wonderful Brown family. My thoughts are with you all.

Larry and Family,

We are so sorry for your deep loss of this lovely lady. We are only sorry to have only come to know her late in life through our Fechteler reunions.

Dear Captain Brown,
We are so very sorry to hear of your loss. We only met Daphne a few times but immediately felt her warmth and welcoming spirit each time we spoke to her at the Navy reunions and again when we visited you both in your lovely home a few years ago. She seemed to be such a vibrant soul! Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. Sincerely,
