Not sure what to say?

Barry, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. She was a wonderful woman who I wish that I would have been able to get to know better. I'm sure that you and your family will miss her dearly. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Daphne was a role model for me: smart, dedicated, classy -- and passionate about her adopted home town of Coronado. It was an honor working with her at the Visitor Center and I will miss her dearly. My deepest sympathy to Larry and the wonderful Brown family. My thoughts are with you all.

Larry and Family,

We are so sorry for your deep loss of this lovely lady. We are only sorry to have only come to know her late in life through our Fechteler reunions.

Dear Captain Brown,
We are so very sorry to hear of your loss. We only met Daphne a few times but immediately felt her warmth and welcoming spirit each time we spoke to her at the Navy reunions and again when we visited you both in your lovely home a few years ago. She seemed to be such a vibrant soul! Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. Sincerely,

My deepest sympathies. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Rosa

Dear Larry and family,
I was so sorry to hear of Daphne's passing. She was a wonderful and tireless volunteer, always giving the most of her time and talent to the organizations she loved. The Historical Association will greatly miss her. She was a beautiful person, both inside and out.

I'm so sorry to read in the SD paper today about Daphne's passing. I have wonderful memories of your family from Holy Family days. Please accept my sympathy. Ruth Franger

Susan and I send our deepest sympathies, we remember Daphne as the perfect "first lady" for the Swenson.

Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Fred and Susan Hicks

Our thoughts and prayers are with Larry and the Brown family as they deal with the loss of Daphne. It has been a long time, but we hope to see you again soon. Best wishes. Phil and Teri sawdey.
