Dear Costa family, my prayers and thoughts are with you. Big Dave was such an insporation to me. He was a man who knew what he wanted in life and truly took hold of it. His compassion and good nature was a rare and precious gift. I can't think of too many men who could fill his shoes, he truly was "larger than life". Big Dave is a man that I will never forget... Wendy, Big Dog was one of the best guys walking this earth. He always was positive and made everyone around him smile. He conquered everything he wanted to, and did it Big. I loved him, and think of him all the time. He will never be forgotten. Find peace and happiness, Dave would want you to. Love always, MarkO & Kim Owens

Wendy, what can I say that you haven't already heard? I wish I could be there to give you a hug, wipe away your tears or just sit and have a cup of tea with you. But we know that is not possible right now. There is so little I can do for the little girl I once cared for but to pray that day by day,you will find strength in you to adjust to a different life for you and your family without Dave. Always remember, some people never find the great love in their life. You and Dave found each other twice. How truly blessed you both were.
Tom and I send our love to the entire Costa/Blackledge family. We will continue to keep you in our hearts & prayers.
With much love & sympathy,
Kay & Tom
