Thinking of you Don on this the day you made the heavenly journey to the heavens. You and your art are especially remembered and I thank the Lord for having met such a gentleman. Till We Meet Again. A View I know you know: From a setting on Corregidor/a View of the peninsula of Bataan, the Philippines 1958

I met Don at the Veterans Museum in Balboa Park where his art was on display. Here is a view that I found by total accident at Koby's. He is pictured center while at his right is Clark Gable. He most probably just returned from being a captive at war's end in 1945. He was on Corregidor but did not got on the Bataan death march that occurred on nearby Bataan some three weeks before the death march of April 9, 1942, when Bataan fell. More photos to follow. Miss you very much Don.

Thinking of Don and our initial meeting and instant friend at the museum and who exhibited his art at the Veterans Museum at Balboa Park before somehow it was moved to New Mexico just before his death. We spoke on October 10th when he paid his last visit to the museum and stated he was thinking of spending his last days in the Philippines...but he died several months later.
