To Jean, Judy and Ron,
My father, Lewis Rodert, was Fred's Mother's brother.
During the late '50s and through the 60's my family and I lived in Los Angeles and visited Fred and his family on weekends to drive our boats in Mission Bay, water ski and eat pizza. Fred and Jean were always a joy to visit. I was an aeronautical engineering student at UCLA until graduation in 1960 and enjoyed talking with Fred about his career at Convair. My deepest condolences and thoughts to Jean, Judy and Ron for their loss.

Jean and family;
I remember going to the Janie Cushing Dance Studio with Judy, and seeing Fred drive home, getting out of the car with a big smile on his face. And in later years, I remember his smile the most! Our thoughts are with you now. An Eskimo legend says it nicely: "The stars in the sky are the souls of our loved ones shining down upon us to let us know they are happy."
