He was 92 years old but never lost his enthusiam for Sikorsky Aircraft. He started with them in 1943 and retired in 1977. In the 1950s during the early days of the Korean conflict he was known as "Korea's Copter Doctor". He was a mentor to many and worked side by side with both military and civilians in the Helicopter industry. Harry was also a founding member and trustee of the Naval Helicopter Association and the Naval Helicopter Historical Society. Harry was married to Dorris "Dodie" Nachlin who predeceased him in 2002.
