MARY WILLINGHAM Obituary

WILLINGHAM, MARY ELLEN "IRISH" May 19, 1920 to Sept. 26, 2010 Mary Ellen "Irish" Willingham passed away on September 26, 2010 at the age of 90. Mary was born in Scottsdale, Arizona on May 19, 1920 and lived in El Cajon for 68 years up until the time of her passing. She was married in 1938 to Aude Bennett "Bud" Willingham and raised four children at their home in El Cajon. In 1942, they opened Bud's Trucking with one single dump truck. Mary was an active part of that business until it was sold in 2001. Mary will be remembered for her creative talents, sassy attitude, and love of all things Irish. Her charming personality left a lasting impression on anyone who met her. Mary is survived by her children, Larry Willingham and wife Judy of Alpine, Sharon Landis and husband David of Ocean Shores, WA., Barbara Lawrence and husband Steve of Ramona, and Terry Willingham of El Cajon, along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary was predeceased by her husband Bud Willingham in 1996. Graveside burial service will be held at Greenwood Memorial at 4300 Imperial Ave at 3 P.M. on Saturday, October 2, 2010.
