RICHARD DICKERSON Obituary

DICKERSON, RICHARD F. Richard F. Dickerson, a Rancho Bernardo resident since 1989, died Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Palomar Hospital after a long illness. He was born in Miami, Florida, on April 15, 1930. He was a graduate of Northwestern University in Chicago, where he spent the early part of his life. He moved to Cincinnati in 1970, where he was President of the CM Paula Co. until his retirement in 1989. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Lou Anna; his children, Richard of Pasadena, Debora Shorthouse of Boise, Idaho, Randy of Placentia, and his stepchildren, Teresa Drenan, Nancy Rix, and Roger Rix all of San Diego. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 16th, at Bernardo Heights Country Club, 16066 Bernardo Heights Parkway, and Rancho Bernardo.

Dick always asked if I had what I needed to do my job and to make sure I had the right phone since I was hard of hearing.
Listing to him laugh while swimming at the pool brighten up the pool. Always a smile and a big hello.
