SPENCER CLAY Obituary

CLAY, SPENCER DAVID Spencer David Clay, 29, died suddenly on September 30, 2010 of natural causes at his home. Spencer was born February 19, 1981 in San Diego to Dan and Carrie Clay. He graduated from San Dieguito High school. He studied Construction Management and graduated from Chico State where he met his fiancée Sarah Bolter. After an adventurous trip to Europe Spencer settled in Pacific Beach. He worked for Rudolph and Sletten following his passion for construction He was a Senior Project Engineer making beautiful buildings throughout San Diego. He enjoyed life, traveling, having bbq's on the beach, motorcycle riding in Baja and Glamis and most of all the many amazing sunsets he experienced. He loved cooking and giving flowers. He told stories of family vacations to Fiji and Lake Tahoe where he created awesome memories with his parents and brother John. He enjoyed sharing experiences with the people in his life that he cared about. He will be missed greatly by his family, friends, and loved ones. Spencer Clay is survived by his parents Dan and Carrie Clay, his brother John Clay and his love and fiancée Sarah Bolter. A private celebration of life has been held.

Clay family:

Thank you for sharing your son with the Grossmont College family. Spencer will be missed but as stated at the beautiful, seaside celebration of life service, he will always be with you. Thanks for inviting your colleagues to participate in this touching event on Saturday--laughter amidst the tears!
