STELLA AMATO Obituary

AMATO, STELLA ANITA August 5, 1922 to Nov. 19, 2010 Stella left this world peacefully in the company of her loved ones on November 19th. Stella was born in Brockton, Massachusetts to Battista and Lina Paganini. At a very young age she moved to New Hyde Park, NY with her family where her father worked as a baker. In November of 1949, she married Joseph Amato. In 1984 Stella and her husband Joseph moved from Oakland, N.J. to Carlsbad, CA. Following a stroke in 2005, she moved in with her daughter, Christine, and her grand-daughter, Alexandera, where she lived the remainder of her life. Stella was loved by all that met her. She was an incredible wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed every day; her passion was her family. She is survived by her two children, Ronald and Christine and granddaughters Danielle and Alexandra as well as many extended family members. Memorial mass will be on Saturday, December 11th, at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Seton, Carlsbad.
