Bill, I always admired you when we were in school, you were a leader then and it sounds as though you have been one all of your life. I will miss the e-mail jokes from you. I know that you are in God's hands now and out of pain. May we all gather comfort knowing that you will always live in or memories whether they are recent or old ones.

My cousin Bill lived and enjoyed his life to the fullest...he loved fishing, hunting & camping and talked about his adventures until his last days...So I believe he has just gone ahead to setup "camp" and wait for family and friends to join him in his favorite past times...Cousin Gloria

I went to school with Bill from 1st grade - 12th grade. He was one of my best friends and we tried to keep in touch as the years went by. I hold Bill and his brother and sisters in my heart. Bill was a wonderful person and valued friend.

RIP Bill! I met Bill through my ex hubby (Bob Hastie)and immediately knew that he was a special man. I then had the pleasure of being Steve's FTO when he followed his Dad's footprints. Another good man. So...to the entire Flores family, congratulations on all the wonderful years he gave to you and the rest of us. Wish it was more but cherish the memories!

I met Bill when we went through the academy in 1969. We either worked adjoining beats, or in the same car for almost three years. He was not only my partner, but my best friend for the next 40 years. I loved him. I'll miss him! I know that his family fully appreciates what a good man he was. I pray that they will gain comfort knowing that he is safely in God's presence.

Bill was my first Field Training Officer in Feb. of 1970. We only spent two weeks together, but I remember learing a lot from him which I carried through my 30 year career with SDPD. He was a good man. However, I'm 6-4 and we had bench seats in those patrol cars....he insisted on driving so I spent two weeks with my knees under my chin! I'll always remember him.
