YOSHIKO COSSI Obituary

COSSI, YOSHIKO POWAY - Yoshiko Nemoto Cossi, 78, lost her courageous battle with cancer on October 22, 2010, in the loving arms of her husband, Tommy. She is survived by her husband, daughter, Linda, and grandson, Cody. She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Brittany, and great-grandson, Dylan. Yoshi, as she was known by her many friends and family, was born to Fukumatsu and Toku Nemoto on April 24, 1932, in Okayama-ken, Japan. She met her soon-to-be husband in 1961 while he was stationed in Japan with the USAF. They were married on December 21, 1962, and came to the USA in April of 1963. Yoshi was determined to become an American citizen and was sworn in on June 24, 1969 with her proud husband at her side. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
