Michelle L. Fields

SPRINGFIELD- Michelle Leigh Fields, 32, formerly of Buffalo, Ill., died Nov. 5, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, Ill.

Michelle was born June 27, 1980, in Springfield, the daughter of Michael L. and Becky S. VanDerVoort Bushnell. She was preceded in death by her infant brother, Robert Daniel Bushnell; her grandmother, Agnes Bushnell and her grandfather, Robert VanDerVoort.

Michelle is survived by her two daughters, Myah L. and Jayda M. Fields, both of Lincoln, Ill.; her parents, Mike and Becky Bushnell, of Buffalo, Ill.; her grandmother, Maxine VanDerVoort, of Decatur; her grandfather, Ben Bushnell, of Sherman, Ill.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Michelle's family will meet friends Saturday, Nov. 10, from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m., at the Buffalo Christian Church in Buffalo, Ill., with the Rev. Chris McAfee officiating. A private graveside service will be at Berea Christian Cemetery near Mount Auburn, Ill.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions honoring Michelle's memory be made to the Buffalo Christian Church, P.O. Box 225, Buffalo, IL 62515 to assist with funeral expenses.
