Albert Setzer
GREENVIEW, IL - Albert Setzer, age 96, of Greenview, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at St. John's Hospice in Springfield.
He is survived by a son, Richard (Karen) Setzer; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three brothers, two sisters and longtime friend, Nedra Howell.
Albert is preceded in death by his wives, Frances Godbey Setzer, and Marie Deverman Setzer, son, Dennis Setzer, one brother and one sister.
He was born August 15, 1918 in Stroudsburg, PA, the son of William and Hattie Setzer.
Albert married Frances Godbey on September 15, 1945 in Paris, France. He later married Marie Deverman in 1983.
Albert was an Army 1st Lt in Europe during WWII. Al retried from Amoco Oil after many years of service. He also was a Mason as well as a Shriner. He also loved playing golf in his spare time.
Graveside Service will be on Saturday June 13, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Elmwood Cemetery in Greenview.
Memorials can be made to Shriners Children's Hospital or Greenview United Church.

We are so very sorry to hear the news of Als passing. I really enjoyed taking care of him when he came into the restaurant for his nightly meals. Our Prayers are with all of his Family, he will surely be missed.
