Spencer brought my brother Jon and I many laughs and long hours of fun back in HS. He was a pleasure to have as a friend and was a wonderful escort for our Senior homecoming which I was honored to attend with him. He was always such a gentleman with a sort of gruff exterior that always kept him interesting and fun to be around & even at times he could be a bit trying. He will always be remembered and kept in my thoughts my, prayers, and my heart. Spencer, you are now at peace and your suffering has come to an end. My only regret is that I will no longer have you in my life on earth. Rest in peace my sweet friend.

Spencer, It was a pleasure to coach and talk baseball with someone as knowledgeable as you. You always kept me on my toes and challenged me in my thinking. Your friendship will be sorely missed.

I remember working with Spencer at Frontier Chrysler when he did a short stint as a service writer. He was funny, approachable, and memorable. I lost track of him as we both changed careers, but over the years we ran into eachother a few times and reminisced.
I am sad to hear he is no longer with us. My condolences to the family of this great person.

Spencer always had this way of making you feel better about yourself. Back in high school this was an invaluable trait. Spencer had us walk tall with our heads up! He would make us laugh with some of his special brand of BS! I only wish that I could've reconnected with him sooner and had a chance to visit with him. You will be missed old friend. God bless your Family and may you rest in peace.

To know him was to love him. He was very funny, a great friend, a wonderful story teller, infuriating, tested your patience and never was afraid to speak his mind. All that and more made up the man that will be greatly missed. Many, many fond memories go with you my friend. May you rest in peace and may Jane, the kids and the rest of Spence's family find comfort in the fact that he is no longer suffering from his illness. He fought the good fight.

Spencer you will be missed. I had hoped to speak with you when I found you on FB after all these years. You were my first boyfriend and I'm so glad that we stayed friends afterwards. You were a truly good friend. Class of '79 Debbie Maricich Cardell

Spencer--I am so glad I knew you. You were so much fun to hang out with--you even made MV a little more tolerable for a restless soul like me. You were so generous with your time and would give the shirt off your back to anyone in need. Godspeed to your family.

Spence, I hate we lost touch after graduation. Couldn't have made it through those 3 years at PMHS without your WICKED sense of humor!! My thoughts & prayers go out to your children.
Always in my heart,
