Dave,
It was a few years since we talked but it was a great one. Our times in Korea could not be beat! Your jolly laugh echoes whether you were clowning about or just laughing being around friends. Condolences to the family, I'm sorry for your loss of a great man. Requiescat in pace brother!

Dave made a ton of friends playing hockey with the old-timers in Northern Virginia. We could hardly keep up with him, on the ice or in the bar after the game! What a fun guy to be around. We will miss him.

I remember first meeting Dave "Hagar" on our first IWMC trip from Southwest Virginia to D.C. for the wreath laying ceremony at the National L E Memorial. Afterwards, he grilled burgers and dogs for everyone. At IWMC Nationals in Manassas in 2013, he grilled in the parking lot every day. At 2017 Nationals in Stone Mountain, his was one of the first burly hands I shook. I remember talking about careers, motorcycles, his Michigan hunting camp, and his pride in his family. I consider it an honor to have called him friend and "Brother".

It's hard to believe Dave's gone. He was a dear friend. You always had fun when visiting with Dave and Kim. He loved her so much. Dave enjoyed the weekends when his granddaughter's Kiley and Macie visited. PopPaw Dave always made sure he took those baby's to the local ice cream stand. I know they miss him terribly. RIP my dear friend.... Johnnie White

I was so saddened to hear about Dave's death. I met Dave in Jr. High. He was fun and a great classmate. We reconnected in the last couple of years. Whenever we talked, he would update me regarding his kids and grandkids. I know he loved his family very much. Dave also loved and served his country. Rest in peace friend.
