Bob Harrold Obituary

Bob "Lippy" Harrold, of Quincy, died Jan. 13, 2014. Bob was a United States Air force Veteran during the Vietnam Era. He was a Minute Man Dart League Shooter for over 30 years, receiving various awards and state championships for his skill in the game. Bob enjoyed listening to music and spending time with those he loved. His main passion was his family and friends. He will be sadly missed. Beloved husband of Renee (Brassard) Harrold of Quincy. Devoted father of Dan Harrold, Aimee Harrold and Jennifer Harrold all of Quincy. Loving son of the later Robert and Doris (Travers) Harrold. Caring brother of Patricia Petit of N.Y., Ellen Abate and her husband Mark of Calif., Paul Harrold of Weymouth and the late Doris Riordon. Brother-in-law Joseph Riordon of Rockland. Also survived by grandpuppy Kai and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4 - 8 p.m. in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:45 a.m. Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Josephs Church, Quincy at 11:30 a.m. Cremation will follow. Donations in memory of Robert may be made to Foundation Fighting Blindness, 80 Broad Street, Suite 3301, New York, NY 10004. Renee, Paul and Family,
I'm so sorry to hear about Bob and his passing. I remember the time he was driving Limos and took a bunch of us to see the Stones. We surprised him with a ticket to go into the show with us and he was shocked. He thought he would be spending the night in the parking lot !!! Great memories of Marlboro street as well ... RIP Lipp. Really sorry for your loss
