Yvonne D. Manning

Yvonne D. (Barthelemy) Manning of Milton passed away peacefully April 12, in the company of her family, at age 93. Born and raised in Lorraine, France, Yvonne was a school teacher until she arrived in Milton in 1946 as the war bride of her beloved late husband, Richard M. Manning. She was an avid candlepin and lawn bowler. She is survived by her children, Michele Manning of Berkeley, Calif., and Maui, Hawaii, Richard and Susan Manning of Amesbury, Christine Manning of San Francisco, Bryan Manning and Laura Caso-Manning and William Manning of Milton and Patricia Manning and Edward Elisio of Bensalem, Pa. She was the devoted mother-in-law of the late Ben Hudnall and Marie Clabby; and loving Vonnie to grandchildren, Tim, Danielle, Heather and Ross, Dennis, Raquel, Brianna, Denise, Michael, Will and Jean. She is also survived by great-grandson, Liam; and a loving extended family in the U.S. and France. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agatha Church, Milton, Monday, April 18, at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours are at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Sunday, April 17, 2 to 6 p.m. Interment will be at Milton Cemetery.
