Ed was an extraordinary man, kind, funny, compassionate, and absolutely brilliant. I taught at RHS for 3 years, and my conversations with Ed turned into a friendship that I treasure. Ed's knowledge of the ancient world helped me to understand Homer's The Odyssey, which I was teaching for the first time. His sense of humor is never to be forgotten. He was a caring friend and loving father. I will never forget my friend Ed.

Greatest expression of condolences to all the family and especially to Pat from a devoted friend of Ed's. He was the greatest example of what Christ intended man to live as that I have ever seen.
