Ruth E. Cedrone BRAINTREE Ruth E. (Griswold) Cedrone, of Braintree, April 20, 2009 at the age 88. Wife of the late Severio Cedrone. Loving mother of S. Lawrence Cedrone of Braintree, Stephen W. Cedrone and Ruthann Despier both of Marshfield. Dear grandmother of Jeffrey, Kevin and Dawn Cedrone, Michele Freeley, Andrea Robbins, Matthew, Jason and Joshua Despier. Also survived by 8 great-grandchildren. She was born in New Bedford and has lived in Braintree for over 40 years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting. She also taught the grandchildren the enjoyment of playing cards and was an active member of the Braintree Senior Citizens. The greatest joy in her life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Reposing at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington Street, Braintree until 9:30 a.m. on Saturday followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Burial in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston. Should friends desire memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 or the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
