Edith Ramsey Obituary
TUSCULUM, TN-- Edith Ellen Holt Ramsey, 88, of Tusculum, TN, passed away January 7, 2016.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years: Curtis Ramsey; one daughter and son-in-law: Karen and Dr. John Pinkard of Brentwood, TN; one grandson and his spouse: Drs. Peyton and Lauren Pinkard of Chicago, IL; one granddaughter: Caitlin Pinkard of Brentwood, TN. She had many special friends and neighbors.
Curtis was the manager of the local JCPenny Store in the 1970's.
Graveside services were held January 10th in Greeneville, TN.

As I grew up at JCP, under the watchful eyes of Mr Ramsey, many indelible impressions rush at me - mostly of care and responsibility. One year, when hours were short at the store, it was the Ramsey's who found neighbors who needed yard work done and so helped me fill in financially getting me through college.
