Eugene "Gene" Cameron Beck

Eugene "Gene" Cameron Beck, 81, born and raised in Spartanburg, SC, passed away Friday, August 10, 2012. He was a retired Chief Master Sgt for the US Air Force where he served tours of duty in the Korean & Vietnam War and served in countless US conflicts. He also retired from the United States Postal Service.
Survived by his son, Stephen (Tamra) Beck; daughters, Cheri Loftis, Toni Brasfield, Debbie Bratton, Michelle LaFontain, and Lynn Gavan; brothers, W.T. Beck and Fred Beck; sister, Nancy Brooks; 12 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
Graveside Service will be on 11am on Monday, December 10, 2012, at Arlington National Cemetery.

I am sorry to learn that Gene passed away. I knew him at Robins AFB, GA where we flew C-141s together. I knew his eyesight had failed him and he was in the Tennessee home for the blind. So sorry he is gone.
