Ellen Virginia Epps
SPARTANBURG SC-- Mrs. Ellen Virginia Epps, 85, of 320 Spruce Street, Apt. 11-A, died Monday, May 30, 2011, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home after a long illness.
A native of Spartanburg County, she was the wife of the late George Epps Sr., and the daughter of the late Harry Jones and Mary Dacus Jones. Mrs. Epps was a member of the United House of Prayer where she served on the Usher Board.
Mrs. Epps leaves to cherish fond memories, four daughters, Doris (Samuel Jr.) Dillard of Newport News, VA, Betty Fields, Deloris (Nolan) Crosby, and Sylvia Tate all of Spartanburg SC; two sons, George (Willene) Epps Jr., and Rev. Frankie (Peggy) Ford both of Spartanburg, SC; twenty great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
The family is at the home.
