Caleb Alden Crull was born on July 16, 1959 in San Diego, CA to Betty Jo and Alden Crull. He was born the third of five children. As a child Caleb was cheerful and sweet and like most boys, always up to mischief. He acquired a nickname from his older brother Mark, --Pearhead', which stuck with him through the years. After receiving his GED, Caleb went into the grocery business for a while, but later found that it was the car business that he loved. He was a longstanding businessman in the car sales industry. In October of 2002 Caleb's life took a life altering turn. He became very ill and was hospitalized in West Virginia. He was blind for three days and had a double stroke that affected his ocular nerves. He eventually received his center vision back but permanently lost his peripheral vision. Caleb realized that his life would never be the same, but through his faith in God and the support of his family he began a new journey that brought him closer to his family than ever before. Caleb never complained about his situation and took a proactive role in bettering his life, health and community. While volunteering at a center in West Central Spokane he met the love of his life, Lori. He was amazed by this beautiful woman who had a kind nature and caring heart for underprivileged people of Spokane. Together they joined forces and were married in 2005. Their ministry was powerful in the form of the opening of Little Lambs Child Care. Not only did they provide childcare but they gave out hundreds of backpacks, free haircuts and games with prizes galore. Caleb and Lori began to attend All Nations Christian Church and quickly sensed that it was a place of sincere worship and service to our Lord. Pastor Schott gravitated towards Caleb and they became fast friends. Caleb's personality was beyond compare; he was gregarious, funny and larger than life. Caleb entered into rest peacefully at home on March 29, 2011. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Caleb is survived by his loving wife Lori; children Melissa, Gideon, Samantha, Randy; grandson Elijah; sisters Karen Miller, Julie (Dan) Powell; brother Mark Neal; sister-in-law Leslie (Jerry) Radebaugh; brother-in-law Mark (Laura) Presting, nephews Travis, Austin, Jordan, Ernie and Matthew; nieces Crystal, Katrina and Mattie; and his faithful companion his dog Sydney. A celebration of Caleb's life will be held on Monday, April 4, 2011 at 11:00am at All Nations Christian Center, 1827 East Pacific Avenue Spokane, WA 99202.
