Evelyn Ruth
Passed away peacefully on May 11th, 2011 surrounded by family. She was born on January 16, 1920 to Harry and Nettie Dryer and is a lifelong resident of Spokane Valley, WA. On August 29, 1941 she married Earl Larsen and together they raised four children, Richard, Ralph, Linda, and Ray. Evelyn was a dedicated member of the Millwood Presbyterian Church. She was a great historian and enjoyed genealogy, scrapbooking as well as collecting stamps and coins. She also loved entertaining and was an amazing cook. Gram, Grandma Orange dearly loved her seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and will be greatly missed. Evelyn is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, sons Dick and Ralph and her parents. A service celebrating Evelyn's life will be held Saturday, May 21st at 10:00 am at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Rd. A burial service will follow immediately afterwards at Pines Cemetery, 1402 S. Pines Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Horizon Hospice, 123 West Cascade Way Suite E, Spokane, WA 99208.
