(Age 59)
Passed away May 2, 2011, in Spokane, Washington. Diane was born August 24, 1951, in Eaton Rapids, Michigan, to Fred and Luella Thurow. She grew up in Springport, Michigan, where she graduated from high school in 1969.
She attended W. A. Foote Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and entered the US Army Nurse Corps. During her military service she met and married John Fry. They both left the military in 1977, and moved to Spokane where she completed her Associate Degree for executive secretary. She worked for Acosta Sales and Marketing for the past 24 years.
Diane is survived by her husband, John; son, Jeff (Rachel) Fry of Spokane; daughters, Kimberly (Lewis) Unland of Garden Grove, CA and Lisa (Jeremy) Jo of San Pedro, CA; and granddaughters Maya, Sierra, McKenna and Jadin.
Per Diane's request, no services will be held.

Diane, you fought hard with all you had. We will miss your feisty spirit and laugh here at Acosta. What will I do without your gardening and canning tips? I appreciate your service to our country and will miss you greatly.

I am so sorry for your loss. Diane was such a wonderful person. I miss hearing her cheerful voice when I call the office and her friendly greetings when I came into the office. She made my day and it just won't be the same. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
