On behalf of the entire Somerday family, I want to express our sincere condolences to Dwan and family. We have so many good memories of Larry at family gatherings (especially as Santa), snowmobiling and summers on Lake Roosevelt. He would do absolutely anything for all of us. We didn't ask, he offered. He would let me take the first sip of his beer because he knew that was the only part I liked. He fixed broken windshields and cleaned up spilled chili in my new car. We were welcomed to their home every weekend during the summer and left with a "see you next weekend" goodbye. He was so good with the kids and they will miss him terribly. They preferred to ride with him because he was the fun uncle. They were already looking forward to another fun summer. We will all miss him and will hold up Dwan and family in continual prayer and support.

Dwan, Lisa, Julie and Family,
Our entire family is so saddened to hear about Larry. From the moment we first met by the fireside on the lake many years ago he had me laughing! Hospitality, kindness above and beyond himself, always offering you something to make you feel comfortable! A great listener. A wonderful talker. He loved well. So thankful for our time and memories together. May you all hold on to one another and the wonderful memories! He loved and cared for his family to the fullest. He was a gift! May we all pay forward his love, smile and his gift of hospitality! Love you all! The Armour Family

Dwan, Lisa, Julie and family, We are very sorry for your lose of Larry. I know Rich and Tanner have many funny memories of Larry from being over there the last 26 years hunting. He always had a smile and something funny to say. I am so thankful I got to see him at Brandon's graduation party. He had us laughing so hard that my cheeks hurt the next day. We send our deepest sympathies to you all and are holding you all up in prayer. God bless. Love, The Brinkman family

I have no words to express how we feel over the loss of 'our Larry' (as the boys referred to him). He was such a wonderful, thoughtful, generous, fun loving guy. We will miss his beautiful smile, Adidas tennis shoes, dinners on the lake and how he always made us feel welcome and at home. We have so many wonderful memories of our summers together. The man had a heart of gold. I hope he knew just how much he meant our family. Loving you always Larry

Thank you for all your kind words. Larry was my rock and my whole life. He was the structure that built his family. Larry loved his girls, granddaughter and son in laws, and as you know he spoke of them often.
I want to thank all of his customers for the pass 34 years. He loved his job. Sometimes it was even hard for me to get him to leave the shop. He always want to make sure that he could do and help with whatever you needed. Someday we will all say. " I wish I could call Larry and ask him because he could tell me what to do " or just sit in the shop and BS because that's what he loved to to. Take time for all of us. Please remember him for the husband, father, papa, and friend that he was to all of us.. We all miss him....
With all my love, Dwan

I haven't been around Laary Gene in years which I am very sorry for. I have thought about him often. He and Lori are my cousins. Our mothers were sisters so I remember him as a little boy. We would come up every summer from California to visit our Washington family. One summer I remember my parents had a brand new car. First one they had ever had. Getting ready to leave my mother noticed the turn signal nob was gone. Come to find out Larry Gene had been so interested in the new car that he was inside checking it all out and unscrewed it and lost it. Uncle Larry found a big ol bolt and screwed it in. My parents were sick having a new car with a bolt sticking out of the stealing wheel. So he was interested in cars way back then. I wish I had gotten a chance to know him as the fine man he became.

Larry was truly one of a kind and the complete love of my life and his families. His was the rock that built his family and structure of what his family was to him. His true love was his girls as you all know he spoke of them often. His love of cars was so deep that it was hard for me to even get him away from the shop at times.
I want to thank all of his customers over the pass 34 years. You are the reason for him wanting to work. He embraced each and everyone of you when you were in need as if you were one of his own family and never thought anything about it. The people he has met and friendships he has made will be forever with him. He will be missed by all but never forgotten. At some point we will say, "gosh I wish I could call Larry because he would know what to do". So please embrace him and hold him tight and remember the good friend that he was to all. Bless all of you and thank you for remembering Larry.
With love, Dwan

It was quite shocking to hear of Larry's passing. He has helped me in getting vehicles back on the road quickly and did such a great job. I will miss Larry as a good business associate. He was always very helpful with us and easy to smile as well as laugh. My prayers are with his family who he always seem to speak of when we were talking.
