ZIMMERMAN, Ira Seth
(Age 78)

Passed away February 21, 2011 after a long illness. Ira was born October 20, 1932 in Harrison, Nebraska to Charlie and Zella (Howell) Zimmerman. He was their fourth of six children. He served as a teleman in the Navy during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Beverly (Gaer); nine of his 12 children: Samuel, Melody, Penny, Timothy, Thomas, Tracy, Tammy, Tanya and Terra; 42 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter Marlene and sons Steven and Daniel. He loved learning, camping, sports and above all his family. He served the Lord in many capacities throughout his life in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a great example to his family of enduring to the end and appreciating everything and knowing the Lord loves and knows you. Visitation will be Friday 10-5 at Heritage and Funeral Service 11:30AM Saturday February 26th at Bowdish Ward LDS Church, 4019 S. Bowdish Rd.
