Born May 8, 1921 in Colville, Washington, and passed away on April 14, 2011 in Spokane. Preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Anna Skeels, brothers Richard, Robert, Edwin and Loren and sisters
Virginia and Margaret,
Kenny is survived by sister Annie Matters, sisters-in-law Myrtle Skeels, Manette Skeels and numerous nieces and nephews. Kenny was a special son, brother, uncle and friend. His stoic demeanor and loving presence will be missed by all who knew him. Kenny learned a strong work ethic early in life from his parents and worked at a variety of jobs through the years, the last being in the custodial department of the Ridpath Hotel in the 1970s. The family is very grateful for the loving care and attention Kenny received from the staff at Alderwood Manor Nursing Home in Spokane which was his home for the past fourteen years. Memorial Services will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 29, 2011 at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home, 5100 W. Wellesley Avenue, Spokane. Interment Fairmount Memorial Park.
