For some reason, maybe a childhood admiration or a belief that she was larger than life (just like her infectious laugh), I truly believed that she was unstoppable. To hear that she is gone, not only breaks my heart but wounds my soul. Millie was as full of love and life as anyone that I have ever met. When I first met her as a child working with my Mom at the Fairchild Commisary, she embraced me as her own. Even now, as a grown up with a family of my own, I still think of her with the love and adoration of a young girl entranced with someone who had so much happiness and sunshine to share. I'll miss you so much, Millie. This Christmas will be a lot less merry without your wonderful letter. Thank you for all your love and support through the years.

Pam.

My mother and Millie worked together at the Commissary on Fairchild for many years. Millie watched me grow up, she was there to meet me children, she seemed a constant in my life for so long. Millie and Mary Ann the demo ladies, together they made commissary trips fun for my kids! Millie always had a smile, a warm hug and a kiss ready. I will miss her, and send my deepest condolences to her loved ones. Millie was an extraordinary women! So strong, sweet and kind, she will be missed, and all those that crossed her path have been blessed.

Millie was a remarkable woman. When working at the bingo hall & she would come in to play bingo, I always greatly admired how active and beautiful she was at over 80! Her sweet, polite spirit definitely blessed our lives. Deepest sympathies. Thank you for sharing family pictures.
