Resident of Spokane, WA passed away peacefully at Sullivan Park Assisted Living Community in Spokane, WA on May 5th, 2011. June was born and raised in Van Hook, North Dakota .
She was one of three children born to the late Thelma and Halvor Kravik. June will forever be remembered by her devoted sisters Dorothy Steele and Arlene Wilhite, beloved children James Hanson (Dee), Gloria Bendewald, Douglas Hanson (Terri), Brian Hanson and Rose Hanson Salomone (Tony). She was preceded in death by her children Ronald Hanson and Sharon Hanson. Her love will be missed by her treasured grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews, and countless friends who were blessed to know her. June thrived when she was caring for others. She worked as a nurse's assistant for several years and managed several apartment complexes in the Spokane area for many years. She developed deep friendships with many of the tenants.
June touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity. Hazen & Jaeger is handling her final arrangements; however, per her request no services are planned.
