Bev passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 7, 2011 at the home of her granddaughter in Bay City, OR. Bev was born in Wisconsin July 2, 1922 the youngest of four children. She met Bill Denno in 1943, while they were building war planes during WWII. They married in December of 1943, moved to Opportunity, WA where they raised three children. Bev was active in Church and PTA for all of her children. Bev and Bill both enjoyed bowling so much so that they bought and ran the restaurant and lounge at Valley Bowl. Bev was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and John Joehnk, three brothers George, Jiggs and Bob Joehnk, a grandson, William James Denno and her beloved husband, William A. Denno. She is survived by three children Bill Denno, Mike Denno and Barbara Bercot. Seven grandchildren: Geoffrey Green, Scott Green, Rob Green, Nicole (Lee) Harper, Ryan Denno, Forrest Denno and Kristi Denno. Six great-grandchildren: Jack, Sarah, and Scotty, Audrey, Natalie and Kaitlyn. Bev and Bill's family and friends would like you to join them for a graveside ceremony at Pines Cemetery in Spokane Valley at 1402 S. Pines Rd., on Saturday, May 21st at 2:00pm.
